Bergen County ax-man Ed Fuhrman—you can see him below in Hades at the prestigious Wacken Open Air festival in Germany—has written The Ultimate Guitar Practice Guide. The book is entertaining, informative, conversational and, of course, instructive. Fuhrman, who played on If At First You Don’t Succeed by Hades in 1988 and their Live On Location in 1992, toured Europe and the States with the band. He played lead on three of their Metal Blade albums from 1999 to 2001.
