After successful appearances in new York City at Birdland, The Blue Note, Lincoln Center, Smalls, Smoke and Mezzrow, Maryland jazz guitarist-composer-educator Andrew Latona brings his trio to Teaneck on August 15. Gospel and that Washington DC strain of what they call go-go music resonates in his mix. Now based in Brooklyn, he’s the brother of Christopher Latona, the rising jazz drummer-pianist.
