There’s something intangible about the music of Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. The indie-pop singer-songwriter-pianist from Southern California co-founded pop-punk band Something Corporate in 1998. Ignoring all expectations, he then started Jack’s Mannequin. His 2014 self-titled debut solo project yielded two Top 5 “Alternative” radio hits, “Cecelia and the Satellite” and “Fire Escape.” After 2017’s Zombies On Broadway and 2018’s Upside Down Flowers, he’s back with Tilt At The Wind No More that’s generating some buzz via its “Stars” single. He’s already performed at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits as well as touring with Weezer and opening for Billy Joel.
