They’re calling this show on January 27 at Bulletproof Studio on Route 35 in Hazlet an “Underground Show” wherein New York City thrash band Another Demon—vocalist-bassist Max Capshaw, drummer Jorge Hernandez-Rodriguez, and guitarists Frank Tosiwill/Jun Takeshita—will be premiering new material. (They’ll also open for Max Cavalera’s Go Ahead And Die at Dingbatz in Clifton on February 9.) Their new “Get Dead” song drops January 21 on Leesta Vall Records. Their debut EP, As Above So Below, came out in September. James Murphy of Death, Testament and Obituary calls Another Demon “some of the best new Thrash Death out there. The music shreds and crushes.” That’s good enough for us to want to go see them. Another Demon will also perform February 9 at Dingbatz in Clifton with Max Cavalera’s Go Ahead and Die plus Half Heard Voices.
