Canadian singer-songwriter-guitarist Bahamas will support his Bootcut album—due September 15—with 32 shows in 29 days. The music of Bahamas—real name: Alfie Jurvanen—is quirky syncopated alt.pop/soul/folk/North Americana with country overtones and the kind of lyrics made to chew on. His “Lost In The Light” garnered over 210 million plays. Popular TV show Ted Lasso used his “Done Did Me No Good” and he’s roped in Eagle Vince Gill plus Nashville legends like mandolinist Sam Bush and harmonicat Mickey Raphael for the new album.
