Belmar is one of those sleepy little hamlets down the shore nestled between Bradley Beach and Asbury Park. When we were teenagers, we always used to walk the boards to get to Asbury Park from our Bradley Beach rooming house. There was nothing ever going on in Belmar except elderly people sitting on those boardwalk benches. Now Belmar rocks, and one reason is Salty’s Beach Bar. Situated just off Lake Como, on July 6, Salty’s will explode with a six-band orgy: Everybody Gets Hurt, Division Of Mind, Final Resting Place, Sector, Last Man Out and headliners Candy.
