They’ve been around for 53 years. This most beloved of Irish acoustic bands is on their “In A Lifetime” farewell American tour that will take them to Red Bank at the Count Basie on September 15. Their folkloric assemblage rearranging traditional Gaelic songs is augmented by electronic keyboards and sumptuous vocal harmony. They even pepper their stew with elements of Gregorian Chants, New Age motifs and subtle hints of rock’n’roll.
