Firewind’s new Stand United album is out and their international tour will hit Canada, England, Europe and Japan, but not before they blow the roof off of Dingbatz in Clifton on April 11. Their brand of rock is hard and their brand of metal is power. The single is “Chains,” and, no, it’s not a cover of the 1962 Cookies song co-written by Carole King. The Beatles already did that in 1963. Firewind’s “Chains” is a propulsive original that should sound just fine within the close intimate environs of Dingbatz.
