Singer Eric Martin, guitarist Paul Gilbert, bassist Billy Sheehan and new drummer Nick D’Virgilio—known collectively as Mr. Big—will hit the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville Feb. 2 as part of their “The Big Finish” tour with a special performance of their 1991 Lean Into It album in its entirety. The band was resolute—since the death of original drummer and band co-founder Pat Torpey in 2018 from Parkinson’s—to end it all with one final stateside swing. With Southeast Asia already under their belts last summer, the band feels after 35 years it’s time to hang it up after one more world trek.
