Revered British rocker Nick Lowe, 74, is rocking harder than ever these days as he fronts the outrageous and wildly entertaining Los Straitjackets who wear Lucha Libre pro wrestling masks onstage. It’s a pairing made in shock-rock heaven as Lowe’s melodic constructions and still-supple voice contrasts nicely with the oeuvre of the boys from Tennessee. It’s positively captivating. And to see them at such an intimate venue means they will be totally in-your-face. Plus, the last night of any tour is a party for the band and that party starts way before the show is over. The tour itself is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Lowe’s Dig My Mood.
