With its new Earthkeeper album just out on Hopeless Records, this Maryland trio—vocalist Ashrita Kumar, guitarist Paul Vallejo and drummer Myron Houngbedji—fuse pop-punk, alt-rock, dance, grunge, metalcore and a love of Beyonce into a well-pounded spark. Their second single, “I’m Gonna Tell My Therapist On You,” is their most-known song. The new single is “Vacant.”
