Doors open at 1:30 for this unique day of music that they’re calling “A Festival of Expressionistic Instrumental & Experimental Sounds from the Tri-State area” at Prototype 237 in Paterson. Complete with food and venders, the artists are Garcia Peoples, Emily Robb, Emergency Group, Drew Gardner, Seawind of Battery, The Royal Arctic Institute, Ernie Francestine and David Bales. Held near the dramatic Great Falls of the Passaic River, the venue itself is a communal performance and art space housed in a beautifully converted historic warehouse and art space with a professionally lit sound-designed stage in a 5,000-square foot black box theater.
