He’s known for taking diametrically-opposed slices of culture—from Leonard Cohen’s 1984 “Hallelujah” and Tom Waits’ 1980 “Heart Attack And Vine” to Nino Rota’s 1972 “Godfather Theme (Speak Softly Love)” and Harold Arlen’s 1939 “Over The Rainbow” and make them all come out totally Chubby.
