Trombone Shorty is one of those artists who come along but once in a generation. I saw him in his New Orleans hometown in 2015 and I’ll never forget it. I did the second line with Orleans Avenue up and down the aisles of a Pennsylvania venue. He crosses Louis Armstrong with Lenny Kravitz, Professor Longhair with Kool & The Gang. When he rocks, it’s hard. When he swings, it’s joyous. This is one you do not want to miss.
