Viv & Riley are an acclaimed folk duo whose new album, Imaginary People, is on Free Dirt Records. The North Carolina duo is produced by Alex Bigham of Hiss Golden Messenger to add a pop sheen to these acoustic gems. The all-original lyrics speak of reflection, joy and camaraderie. Beyond their Americana roots, Imaginary People is layered, nuanced, “sweetly sad and gently sardonic,” according to the duo.
