As part of the Metcalf Park Tennis Courts “Celebration of Tennis, Culture, Music & Food” from 2:00 to 8:30, Blues People—vocalist/guitarist Kelton Cooper, bassist Mike Griot, keyboardist Ron Thompson and drummer Gene Lake—will perform at 7:00. The band is from Orange in Essex County, and took its name from the 1963 Amiri Baraka book.
