Nigerian guitarist-singer-songwriter Mdou Moctar, 41, has taken what he’s learned from African legend Ali Farka Toure [1939-2006] and modernized it into a pastiche of worldbeat, blues, folk, rock and alt-pop singularly suited to his multi-talented presentation. He’ll be solo on this night so expect more blues than usual.
