All Roads Lead To Hoboken In May

Hoboken 2026 Spring Arts and Music Festival

The free 2026 Spring Arts and Music Festival will take place on Washington Street between Observer Highway and Seventh Street May 17 (rain date: May 31) in Hoboken from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with over 300 vendors and two stages of live music. Over 30,000 visitors are expected.

The musical theme this year is freestyle dance-pop. Singer-Songwriter George “The Voice of Freestyle” Lamond should do his “Bad of the Heart” and others from his seven albums. Cynthia came out of Spanish Harlem, has five albums, and drives crowds crazy whenever she commands a stage. Betty Dee of Sweet Sensation scored a #1 with “Never Let You Go.” Her artistry has endured for over 30 years. The Cover Girls-- Evelyn Escalera, Sabrina Nieves and Lorraine Munoz—have sold over three million units of their four albums, including 11 consecutive hit singles, and will likely jam out on “Show Me.”

Besides the freestyle headliners, a second stage will host a variety of local and emerging performers including multi-instrumentalist vocalist-actor-dancer Finn Douglas, ska band Day 19, rock band 3 Dollars, singer-songwriter Janetza Miranda, Broadway star Dariana Mullen, DJ Bripee and others.

“The Hoboken Spring Arts & Music Festival is one of our city’s most anticipated events of the year,” says Mayor Emily B. Jabbour. “Each spring, Washington Street comes alive with music, art, food, and thousands of residents and visitors celebrating the creativity and diversity that makes Hoboken such a special place. We’re thrilled to welcome these iconic freestyle performers along with an incredible lineup of local artists and musicians.”
