Did You Miss This 2022 Doc?

Banded Together: The Boys From Glen Rock High’

‘Banded Together: The Boys From Glen Rock High’ is a documentary that came out last year. It keys in on Music Teacher Joe Sielski whose students went on to have long-lasting careers playing alongside Bruce, Donald Fagen, Al Kooper and others. Directed by Barry Rubinow—who also grew up in Glen Rock, a small Bergen County community—with loving attention-to-detail, it stars Jimmy Vivino (26 years as Conan O’Brien’s Musical Director/Guitarist/Bandleader, and a member of The Fab Faux with whom he brings down the house every time he pulls out his sitar), Jerry Vivino (The Tonight Show Band) and Uncle Floyd Vivino. (Jerry and Floyd also appear in The Jersey Sound documentary later this year.)
