Bettye LaVette & Steve Jordan In Rare Discussion/Concert

The Americana Music Foundation and Grammy Museum are teaming up to present a rare one-night-only sit-down at The Greene Space in Manhattan with the iconic soul singer Bettye LaVette, of Essex County, and drummer Steve Jordan, on May 31, as part of their “A New York Evening With…” series. The pair will talk about LaVette’s new LaVette! album of all Randall Bramblett songs that Jordan produced and performed on. Then they will make some music and if past intimate encounters with the music of this amazing vocalist is any indication, patrons will be swooning in the aisles.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased here.
