Bruce To Headline Jersey Shore’s Sea Hear Now Fest in September

Sea Hear Now, New Jersey’s largest homegrown rock festival, is set for September 14 and 15 with shows in Asbury Park and Bradley Beach. Over 25 bands will strut their stuff like last year when Foo Fighters, The Killers, Weezer, The Beach Boys and Sheryl Crow performed. This year Noah Kahan headlines Saturday and some rock group called Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band headlines Sunday. It marks the largest show ever for Bruce in the town where he found his voice. Other than rehearsals and jams, it’s been 21 years since he properly played there.

It’s a terrific lineup. The Black Crowes, The Gaslight Anthem (from New Brunswick), Trey Anastasio (from Princeton), Norah Jones, 311, Grace Potter, The Robert Randolph Band, Sonic Blume (from Asbury Park) Kool & The Gang (from Jersey City), Larkin Poe, Rachel Ana Dobken (from Asbury Park) and others will rock the shore into submission. Professional surfers will compete. Second Line parades will infuse the boardwalk with New Orleans-inspired joy.  The Transparent Art Gallery will feature works by performing musicians. Tickets are onsale now at https://www.seahearnowfestival.com/
