New Jersey’s Eric Darius announces the release of Unleashed

With “That’s My Jam” a Top 5 hit, Livingston New Jersey’s Eric Darius has announced the August 12 release of Unleashed. The jazz/R&B sax man, producer, songwriter and performer runs his own label, SagiDarius Music.

His 2018 Breakin’ Thru album yielded four #1 Contemporary Jazz hits. The new album is produced by Philip Lassiter and features collaborations with numerous artists from soul, jazz, hip-hop, funk and pop. The genre lines are always blurred with Darius.

He is supporting Unleashed with a national tour starting July 16 in Maryland at the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival and running through November 19 in Connecticut.

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.
