It Took 35 Years But Skid Row Finally Has A Live Album and Concert Film

Skid Row Live In London

Skid Row—Live In London was recorded on October 24, 2022. That concert will mark the first live album/concert film from these Toms River, Ocean County, headbangers. “Slave To The Grind” is out but the complete package won’t be available until September 20, according to the band’s earMUSIC label.

With the massive success of current album The Gang’s All Here, and despite losing lead singer Erik Gronwell due to complications from leukemia, Skid Row just completed a successful international tour. Temporary replacement Lzzy Hale finished the last few remaining dates.

The band recently sent a press release that reads in part, “as teens, we dreamt of playing places like The Stone Pony in Asbury Park and CBGB in New York City. Our dreams became bigger with London, England, at the forefront. We fantasized one day to headline a show in the very city where so many of our favorite bands came from.”

Rachel Bolan, who can be seen in the upcoming documentary The Jersey Sound, adds, “London has always been a home away from home for us. We are very excited to finally capture a live show on video for the rest of the world to see.” Snake Sabo agrees:  “After the release of The Gang’s All Here, we realized that something special was happening. This record perfectly captures that moment-in-time. Thank you, London! You always deliver! Onward and upward.”
