Jason Didner Gets Profound

Jason Didner

Montclair’s Jason Didner is usually so humorous. His “People Against The Abuse Of Acronyms” graced our “Visual Sound” section on April 5 of last year. Months later, on Oct. 7, so did his terrific “Underwater Basket Weaving.” Then in January of this year, he appeared on an Internet Radio Station—wwww.blowupradio.com—to “Rock Against Hate.” He wrote to us last month and said, “Hey Mike, I recently got hit with a jolt of inspiration to write a song about Springsteen, [his manager Jon] Landau, and the saving power of their friendship when Bruce was in a dangerous depression in ’82. Aptly, the song is titled `Deliver Me From Nowhere.’” (Scott Cooper’s movie of the same name comes out this month.)
