On October 26 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, “A Evening Of Conversation,” with Jon Bon Jovi and Stephen Colbert, will be part of this year’s Montclair Film Festival. With proceeds benefitting https://montclairfilm.org/, the event will pit the comedian and the rocker in a free-wheeling interview that will no doubt cover Bon Jovi’s acting (he’s been in three films:  Moonlight and Valentino, Little City and No Looking Back), his four-part Disney+ Thank You Good Night documentary from last April, the future of his band, and his Soul Foundation (https://jbjsf.org/) which feeds and houses the homeless.

Montclair Film Artistic Director Tom Hall: “As an artist who embodies empathy and community, Jon’s work represents the values that inspire everything we do at Montclair film.” Previous Colbert interviewees have been Meryl Streep, Martin Scorsese, Jimmy Fallon and Jon Stewart.
