December 14 is the date for the Lenny Kaye/Tammy Faye Starlite concert to benefit www.njarts.net, a non-profit one-stop for everything cultural in our great state. Our friend Jay Lustig has helmed this site for 10 years, offering free content, based on his previous decades as a trusted Jersey journalist. The show will take place in Montclair at Outpost in the Burbs.

Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist-Producer-Author Lenny Kaye—who co-founded The Patti Smith Group—has been at it for 59 years. His latest book is Lightning Striking: 10 Transformative Moments in Rock’n’Roll (2021). Tammy Faye Starlite and her band have been thrilling audiences with her Nico tributes but on this night will perform the 1968 Rolling Stones masterpiece Beggers Banquet in its entirety.
