Light of Day Foundation Announces Line-Up

For its 23rd year of its ongoing effort to defeat Parkinson’s Disease, ALS and PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), the Light of Day Foundation has announced its 2024 lineup. It was previously reported in this space on November 13 that Fleetwood Mac cover band Tusk will headline January 12 at the Count Basie Center for Performing Arts in Red Bank with Taylor Simon King opening (in tribute to James Taylor, Carly Simon and Carole King), and Max Weinberg’s Jukebox will then headline eight days later, January 20, at the Basie. (Light of Day has raised over $6.5 million so far.)

January 17

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.

In addition to writing about music, Greenblatt has worked on publicity campaigns for The Animals, Pat Benatar, Johnny Winter, Tommy James and Richard Branson, among others. He is currently the editor of The Jersey Sound.
