Mark Mulch Comes ‘Full Circle’

Mark Mulch

No one has epitomized the essence of feel-good summer-time beach music like Nashville singer-songwriter-producer Mark Mulch. Originally from Toms River in Ocean County, his music will put a smile on your face and a strut in your step. Like Elvis with “Slicin’ Sand” (which Mulch should cover!), like the Beach Boys of “Catch A Wave,” like Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville,” his music is a balm for the soul in these troubled times. Now he’s come Full Circle with an album filled with such pleasures. You’ll want to bring your boombox under the boardwalk for this one. The dude has helped pioneer the burgeoning Trop-Rock genre and he’s not above admitting who his main influence is. He even sang about it on last year’s “Buffen’ It.”

His Lemongrass Band is a key component of his sound. And with such talented fellow surf’n’sand folk as Sara Bug, Luke Pimental, Jax Bowers, Steve Brown (from Trixter/Def Leppard), Lee Turner, Daniel Dennis and Skidd Mills crankin’ it up behind him, the beautiful blue skies above are the only limit. Enjoy the warmth.
