NEWARK’S GIANT RAPPER, SHAQUILLE O’NEAL, IS BACK WITH “KING TALK”

Newark rapper—and NBA Hall of Famer—Shaquille O’Neal is back with his first new rap song in years. “King Talk” is playful, funky, boastful and tinged with a hardcore non-stop beat produced by Chilean actor/director/singer/songwriter Koko and shared with Ghanaian rapper Blackway who starts it, then gives Shaq the mic before returning.

“Sittin’ on my throne with luxury/I don’t need your company/’’Cause I woke up and bought two companies!”

“They ain’t ever run it like this/They don’t get it jumping like this/Boy, I’m hot/Bow down and kiss the ring/My girl riding with the King, Coretta Scott.”

The four-time NBA Champion released four hip-hop albums in the 1990s, and appeared with The Notorious B.I.G. on “You Can’t Stop The Reign” in 1998. Despite going gold with his 1993 Shaq Diesel debut, Shaq quit rap because “I didn’t make enough money.” Apparently, he got the itch again.
