Paramus Metal Stalwart Dan Lorenzo Surprises on New Single

At first, we didn’t think it was the same guy from Hades, Non-Fiction, Cass King and Patriarchs In Black on new single “I’m One Again.” But hell yeah, with horns upraised, it’s guitarist/songwriter Dan Lorenzo, our favorite metal dude from Paramus.

So we asked him to explain.

“Type O Negative’s Johnny Kelly had just finished drums to the next Patriarchs In Black album and I told him I had this song that I wrote a long time ago sitting around. He agreed it wasn’t metal enough, so I sent it to Johnny Milnes of Mucky Pup who thought it really catchy.”

Then it went to singer Jeff Dixon who laid down his vocal track at the end of April. “Jeff sang a few tracks on my last solo album, Cut From A Different Cloth, and I’ve always loved his voice. So I added guitar and bass and got my buddy Josh Anonymous to create digital art. I’m so stoked to show another side of my musical tastes.”
