Paterson Girl—Jalisa Rey—Makes Good

Born and raised in Paterson, singer-songwriter Jalisa Rey’s seven-track So Personal debut EP is an affair of the heart. Her versatility is now squarely in the forefront after three singles starting with “U Ain’t Shit,” followed up by “It Ain’t Fair” and “True Colors.” The gal’s got balls. She up and left Jersey for the wilds of Los Angeles—despite not knowing anyone—to get her career jump-started. The result is So Personal.
