The highly-anticipated Bruce movie—Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere—is set to open in theaters October 24. The trailer has just been released (see below). As directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart), from a book by Warren Zanes (from the band Del Fuegos), it stars Jeremy Allen White (Shameless, The Bear, The Iron Claw) as Bruce (he did his own singing), Jeremy Strong (Succession) as manager/producer Jon Landau, Odessa Young (The Order) as love interest Faye, Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell) as recording engineer Mike Batlan, Stephen Graham (Adolescence) as dad Doug, Gaby Hoffman (Sleepless In Seattle) as mom Adele, Johnny Cannizzaro (Jersey Boys) as Stevie Van Zandt, Marc Maron (Glow) as producer Chuck Plotkin, Harrison Gilbertson (Upgrade) as friend Matt, David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer) as record executive Al Teller and Chris Jaymes (Short Term 12) as studio engineer Dennis King.

Bruce told SiriusXM, "he sings very well. Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it. He's got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize, and he's just done a great job, so I've had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there." He called it a “great project” in Rolling Stone, admitting “the movie involves, in some ways, some of the painful days of my life,” adding “if there was a scene coming up that was sometimes really deeply personal, I wanted the actors to feel completely free, and I didn’t want to get in the way, and so I would just stay at home.” He said Jeremy Allen White was “very very tolerant of me the days that I would appear on set.”
