Stevie Van Zandt Cashes In Big

Producer/Composer/Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Actor/Author/DJ/Architect of the Asbury Park Sound Stevie Van Zandt has signed a multi-million dollar deal with Primary Wave Music. PWM will now manage his publishing/recording catalog as well as owning the rights to his “name and likeness.”

On the publishing side, Van Zandt has co-written numerous songs on such Bruce albums as The River and Born In The USA. He wrote “I Don’t Want To Go Home” and “This Time It’s For Real” for Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes plus “All Alone On Christmas” for Darlene Love (popularized in the Home Alone 2 movie.) His songs have also been recorded by Meatloaf, Gary “U.S.” Bonds, Nancy Sinatra, Jackson Browne, Ronnie Spector and Brian Setzer.

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.

In addition to writing about music, Greenblatt has worked on publicity campaigns for The Animals, Pat Benatar, Johnny Winter, Tommy James and Richard Branson, among others. He is currently the editor of The Jersey Sound.
