Who wants to buy one of Joe Walsh’s guitars? Or some of his stage clothing? On December 16 and 17, the biggest rock star to ever come out of Montclair in Essex County, the man who gave the Eagles some balls, will auction off about two dozen rare items at The Troubadour in West Hollywood (and online). Before that, fans can see the items through Dec. 3 at The Hard Rock Café in New York City.

Mark Knopfler’s charity single “Going Home (Theme From Local Hero)” features 60 rock stars in support of Teen Cancer America and England’s Teenage Cancer Trust. It is one of the most overpowering lineups of major stars ever assembled for one cause with members of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen, Black Sabbath, Rush, Guns N’Roses, Eagles and many more.

The compilation album ‘Tell Everybody! 20th Century Juke Joint Blues’ won’t be released until August 11 but Easy Eye Sound has rush-released a hot number, “Daughter Of Zion,” by Glenn Schwartz, produced by Dan Auerbach, as a teaser.
