That Oddball Bergen County Genius Kramer Is At It Again
Back in April, we told you about a New York City producer-composer-musician-filmmaker named Kramer who moved to the sleepy hamlet of Demerest in Bergen County. Next month he will release his ambient ‘The Walk’ album with noted Japanese rebel Kato Hideki, largely responsible for the ‘90s “Noise” scene in Tokyo.
Pan American & Kramer’s Challenging Ambient Soundscape
In the 1980s, deep within Bergen County, in a small town called Demarest, a producer-composer/musician/filmmaker called Kramer founded his Shimmy-Disc label where esoterica flourished. Illinois producer-composer-guitarist Mark Nelson records as Pan American. The two have teamed up to release their ‘Reverberations of Non-Stop Traffic on Redding Road’ album. The first single is “Floating Epitaph.”
