Hey all you college singers out there, the New Jersey Jazz Society is adding a “Vocal Performance” category to its 2025 juried scholarship competition. You’ve got until March 28 to apply for either “Jazz Performance” or “Original Composition.” The contest is open to all New Jersey students currently enrolled in an undergraduate music program and also to New Jersey residents in out-of-state programs. The Madison Community Arts Center on 10 Kings Road will host a 3:00 p.m. concert November 3 with winners of the New Jersey Jazz Society’s 2024 scholarships.
