The Return Of Misfits

Those metal punks from Lodi in Bergen County known as Misfits have announced a mini-tour of three cities with singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig, bassist Jerry Only, lead guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, guitarist Acey Slade and legendary drummer Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, Mr. Bungle and Fantomas). June 24 is the date for the Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds with Megadeth and Fear. On July 8, they’ll raise the roof of the Prudential Center in Newark with The Gaslight Anthem and Fear. It all ends on July 15 in Phoenix at the Talking Stick Resort.

Danzig told Greg Kennelty in www.metalinjection.net last year, “I  don’t think I’m going to tour anymore. I’m just going to fly out to a show here or there. I’ll maybe be down to do some one-offs. But I just don’t see myself getting on a tour bus anymore…yeah, I think I’m done.”
