Warren County Rapper Inventor Ace Wants To Get High

Rapper Inventor Ace

His rap has been called “throwback stoner indie hip-hop.” His new single—"L.G.H”—stands for “Let’s Get High.” Dude’s from Warren County, and records in a place he calls his “underground lounge.” But let us let him tell his tale…

Inventor Ace

"Growing up, I was introduced to all styles of music from Mary J Blige and Outkast to Steely Dan and the Gypsy Kings, my mental musical library was constantly filled by my dad who showed me all types of music from when I was young. In my teen years, there were a lot of musical influences. I listened to a lot of ‘90s hip-hop, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, and Mac Miller (r.i.p) and always wanted to create a stoner track if the opportunity ever presented itself, which is the route we ended up going with this one. My hope is that people will listen to it with an open mind and no expectations and enjoy the music and visuals for what it is, as a smooth lighthearted track because, after all, I just enjoy creating music that people can connect to."
