Jessie Wagner
“Wicked Cool”
She’s a member of Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul. She records for Little Steven’s Wicked Cool Records. And her latest single is, indeed wicked cool. It’s from her War Within album and it rocks like a bitch. She’s never been one to be compartmentalized into a genre box but damn! You Go, Girl!
Skid Row
“Disease”
They came out of 1986 Toms River in Ocean County. “Disease” is their brand new lyric vid from their fifth studio album, the recently re-released Revolutions Per Minute from 2006 with vocalist Johnny Solinger.

The Spins
“One More”
The Spins have released the third single from their upcoming Left Behind album (which drops July 25). Hailing from right along New Jersey’s portion of the Appalachian Trail in Warren County, Nick Combs, Freddy Smith, Jimmy Barr and Phil Dunphy have, since 2016, traversed dance, pop, emo, punk and rock’n’roll. Pure indie all the way.
Bruce Springsteen & Paul McCartney
“Money Can’t Buy Me Love” and “Kansas City”
This needs no introduction. I just wish I could’ve been there.
Jake Clemons
“Stop The Wars”
Jake Clemons, 45, the nephew of the late saxophonist Clarence Clemons, shouts to “Stop The Wars,” a sentiment we couldn’t agree with more. Jake blows sax with Bruce but also has his own thing going. He’s a singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist who has played in the bands of Eddie Vedder and Roger Waters. Parts of the vid were filmed at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
Mike Greenblatt

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
