Their Death Wish Blues album on Rounder Records comes out May 19. Fish can wail on the slide guitar and sing up a storm. Teaming up with bluesman Dayton is a match made in honky-tonk heaven. The first single/video is “Riders,” about which Fish says, “it’s about being musicians and troubadours and having one-night stands with whatever city you happen to be in. Every city is personified as a love interest or partner, and in the end you just move on to whatever adventure is coming up next.”
