Brooklyn’s indie upstarts Tennis Courts will support their new single—“Jaime’s Party”—with a tour that will take them to down the shore in Asbury on June 22. Lorde Producer Erik Kase Romero helmed the sessions in Oakhurst (Ocean County) which yielded a full-length to be released later this year. Originally from South Carolina, the band—singers-songwriters Patrick Walsh/Andrew Clarke, guitarist Brian McKenna, bassist Spencer Brigman—takes from Big Star, power pop glitz and alt-country gloom to fashion a sound rooted in modernity but based on tried-n-true ‘70s parameters.
