The Walkmen will hit Asbury Lanes on October 15. This highly-acclaimed New York City band’s 2000 debut, Everyone Who Pretended To Like Me Is Gone, was recorded in their own Harlem studio. Three albums later, based in Brooklyn, they’re on their first tour in 10 years. Bassist-singer-organist Walter Martin, originally from DC, posted the following.

"Ok so, we are doing more shows! We truly can’t get enough. Our spring tour was such a thrill and so much better than we could have ever imagined, so we’re stretching our fall tour out a bit more with West Coast and Dallas shows, before heading back east to Boston, New Jersey and our final show back home in NYC. We can’t wait. Thanks to everyone who’s come out so far and we’re looking forward to seeing more of you.”
