Asbury Park’s Yawn Mower has been at it for over a decade. Bob Makin, at The Aquarian, called them “great, fuzzed-out, doomy, surf-pop.” Upon signing to North Jersey indie Mint 400, they released a numerous singles and EPs, with the full-length debut, To Each Their Own, in 2022, and this year’s model, I Just Can’t Wait To Die, as the follow-up. Makin even cited them as his “Makin Waves Band of the Year.”
