A Night Out At The Golden Globes for the Springsteens

The subtle and haunting groove of Bruce Springsteen’s “Addicted to Romance” was one of the six songs nominated for a 2024 Golden Globe award in the category of “Best Original Song Motion Picture.” The motion picture is She Came To Me, a tale of a composer who suffers writer’s block but who rediscovers his passion after an adventurous one-night stand, starring Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway, Marisa Tomei and Nicole Kidman.

Bruce’s competition was “What Was I Made For,” from Barbie, by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell; “Dance The Night Away,” also from Barbie, by Caroline Ailin, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt; “Road To Freedom,” from Rustin, by Lenny Kravitz; “Peaches,” from The Super Mario Brothers Movie, by Jack Black, Aaron Horvath, Michael Jelenic, Eric Osmond and John Spiker; and “I’m Just Ken,” by Andrew Wyatt and Mark Ronson, from Barbie.

And the winner was… Billie Eilish.
