Author Alan Paul Returns Home To Maplewood July 20 at Words Bookstore

New York Times best-selling author Alan Paul (Texas Flood and One Way Out) will return to his Maplewood home town in Essex County on July 20 at the Words Bookstore—179 Maplewood Avenue—to talk about and sign his latest book, Brothers and Sisters: The Allman Brothers Band and the Inside Story of the Album That Defined the ‘70s. The 7:30 p.m. event is free and does not require one to buy a book. Paul is a Wall Street Journal contributor who plays guitar in an Allman tribute band, Friends Of The Brothers.

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.

In addition to writing about music, Greenblatt has worked on publicity campaigns for The Animals, Pat Benatar, Johnny Winter, Tommy James and Richard Branson, among others. He is currently the editor of The Jersey Sound.
