Author Warren Zanes to Discuss His New Bruce Book This Thursday in Asbury Park

Author Warren Zanes will be talking Springsteen’s Nebraska and the book he wrote documenting its creation. Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making Of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska is one of the best music books of the year. Zanes will be signing, selling and talking about writing it. The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University—in collaboration with Transparent Clinch Gallery—will host the event at the Clinch Gallery in Asbury Park this Thursday June 15. Danny Clinch will host the 7:00pm proceedings. Doors open at 6:00pm.

Mike Greenblatt

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.

In addition to writing about music, Greenblatt has worked on publicity campaigns for The Animals, Pat Benatar, Johnny Winter, Tommy James and Richard Branson, among others. He is currently the editor of The Jersey Sound.
