BRUCE INTERVIEW TO AIR SUNDAY

Bruce Springsteen Interview

A Bruce Springsteen interview special will air in prime-time on ABC-TV Sunday, October 20. “Backstage and Backstreets” will be seen at 10:00 p.m. e.s.t. with Good Morning America co-host George Stephanopoulos. The show is part of a promotional push for Bruce’s upcoming Hulu and Disney+ “Road Diary” documentary to debut October 25. According to an ABC press release, the network was granted “unprecedented access to Springsteen, his team and the E Street Band over the course of several months while Springsteen was on tour.” Bruce, reportedly, reflects upon his career, “sharing insights on the challenges he’s faced.” Plus, “exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews” from DC, Asbury Park and Toronto cover such wide-ranging subjects as his wife, his health, the band and the future. E Street band members are also interviewed in the doc about what it’s like working for The Boss.

Stephanopoulos:  “It’s a privilege to have this rare access…His music  has inspired so many, and getting to sit down with him for such intimate conversations reveal the man behind the legend. I can’t wait for viewers to experience this special.”

Bruce will also appear with his band on Howard Stern’s October 23 SiriusXM show.
