Cat Convention Set For Monmouth County in October

All you cat lovers out there should know that on October 10 and 11, The Jersey Sound will be the sound of meow, the universal language that cats make when they want to talk to people. Please note that cats do not meow at other cats, only at people!  The two-day event will take place October 10 and 11 at Bell Works in Holmdel where cat lovers will commune for “educational presentations, celebrity guests, interactive activities and shopping,” according to the folks at Catsbury Park, the Asbury Park-based Non-Profit Rescue, who go on to say that “attendees can browse a bustling Vendor Village featuring artists, makers and pet-focused businesses, meet local rescue organizations, and learn more about cat welfare and adoption efforts.” Jersey Shore comedian Drennon Davis will be on hand, as will Adam Myatt and his popular “Cat Man Bingo” plus Sterling Davis of TrapKing Humane Cat Solutions.

We want to create a weekend that celebrates every part of cat culture from education and entertainment to art and community while raising meaningful support for Catsbury Park and our partner rescue organizations.
