Free Summer Atlantic City All-Day Concert

On August 26, The National R&B Music Society, in conjunction with the town of Atlantic City, will present FOR FREE After 7, Ray Goodman and Brown, Keith Washington, Black Ivory, Dennis Taylor and The Legendary Blue Notes featuring Sugar Bear. Opening acts include DJ Fah D, Shawn Rock, Village Bridge and Kemistry. The event will be hosted by Maurice Watts, the longtime voice of WHCR 90.3 FM in New York.  Held at Gardner’s Basin, venders will be onsite. Patrons can bring tents, chairs, umbrellas and coolers. The show will run from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Rain date is August 27.

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.

In addition to writing about music, Greenblatt has worked on publicity campaigns for The Animals, Pat Benatar, Johnny Winter, Tommy James and Richard Branson, among others. He is currently the editor of The Jersey Sound.
