Heavy Metal Hero Glenn Danzig is Back on the Road

He swore he wouldn’t but Bergen County heavy metal hero Glenn Danzig, 67, is back out on the road and this time he’s got Behemoth, Twin Temple & Midnight with him. He’ll be performing his iconic 1988 self-titled debut album in its entirety for its 35th anniversary. His camp issued a tweet that said, “These will be the only Danzig shows for the foreseeable future so do not miss the opportunity to see these rare Danzig performances.” Tickets go onsale May 31.

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.
